DAY 1: (Friday)
Meet your crew aboard the Whitsunday Explorer at Coral Sea Marina - Airlie Beach at 3.00 - 3.30pm sharp and make yourself at home in your private ensuite cabin. Departs 4.30pm.
Hamilton Island guests board 3.00 - 3.30pm Departs 4.30pm
As we set off to Cid Harbour our anchorage for the evening, relax with a cocktail on deck and watch the sunset.
Then join the Captain and his crew for our special Welcome Dinner.
Your crew will also brief you on the itinerary for the next couple of days to suit the conditions.
DAY 2: (Saturday)
After breakfast you can choose to relax onboard, participate in water activities, or take the Whitsunday Peak Guided Walk, only accessible by boat, for spectacular panoramic views of the Whitsundays.
Once everyone is back onboard enjoy a buffet lunch before we head off to Whitehaven Beach and it's iconic stretch of white sand to swim and relax on the beach or Hill Inlet – an easy walk to take in vistas of the spectacular swirling sands.
Make sure you join us at 5pm for cocktail hour on the sun deck before dinner.
We anchor at Hayman Island overnight.
DAY 3: (Sunday)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast then either explore the underwater life with snorkeling in a safe and sheltered spot or just relax on the beach before your return to Coral Sea Marina to disembark at 11am.

Whitehaven Beach
Famous for its endless stretch of silky white sand and crystal clear waters Whitehaven Beach is a must visit for any Whitsundays holiday. Relax on the beach, swim or enjoy classic beach games (equipment included) – again the choice is yours but make sure you feel the sand between your toes.

What should I bring?
Weather appropriate clothing, footwear for moderate walking, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, light jacket, cash or card for any additional purchases, small backpack and water bottle for onshore excursions.
What time can I check in?
Check in commences at 3pm at Coral Sea Marina Lookout Lounge. As our guest you will have complimentary access to the Coral Sea Marina Lookout Lounge prior to boarding. Final arrival time is 4pm to ensure we depart on time at 4:30pm sharp.
What type of menu is available?
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be a buffet style menu based on local seasonal produce. Morning and afternoon teas will include a selection of muffins, cheese, biscuits, and fruit. Tea & Coffee will be available throughout service times. Please see our sample menu.
Do you cater for specific dietary requirements or food allergies?
Please ensure you advise any special dietary requirements and/or medical conditions at the time of booking. We can cater to most requirements.
Can I take my own alcohol?
Alcohol is available for purchase from our fully licensed bar on board, with a selection of local beer and wine on offer. BYO Alcohol is not permitted.
Are snacks available outside mealtimes?
A small selection of snacks are available for purchase outside of meal times.
Where will the boat anchor for the evenings?
A sample itinerary has been provided as a guide, however the final cruise itinerary will be dependent on the sea and weather conditions. There will be a briefing each evening to outline the planned activity for the following day.
What on board entertainment, water activities and shore excursions are available?
Island walks, wildlife encounters, kayaking, tender excursions, beach games, swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding, cocktail hour, board games, TV. Stinger suits will be supplied for water activities when required. Is there Wi-Fi available on board? Yes, Wi-Fi is complimentary on board for all guests (where service is accessible)

Children must be 5 years or over for the Explore Expedition Cruises. Standard per person rates apply to children 5 years and over.
Is there a baggage limit?
Baggage is limited to one large suitcase and one travel bag per person.
How often is the cabin serviced?
Cabins receive a light service daily.
What bathroom amenities are included in the room?
Soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are supplied in all cabins.
What is the bedding configuration and what size beds are in the rooms?
Double cabins have a super king sized bed and twin share cabins have two standard single beds.
Is there a dress code for dinner?
Casual or Smart Casual is appropriate for all evenings.
Are there TV’s in the cabins?
No. A TV is located in the main lounge.
Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is only permitted in the specifically designated outdoor smoking area.
Does the boat have accessible cabins & facilities?
Mobility access to this vessel is limited and there are multiple stairways to get between decks. Please contact us for more details if you have limited mobility.
Are medical services available on board?
Multiple crew are first-aid trained, please advise any medical conditions at time of booking and before boarding the vessel.
What if there are travel restrictions due to Covid-19?
If the cruise is unable to operate as scheduled, or customers aren’t able to travel, due to Covid-19 restrictions within Australia, a full refund will be provided.
Are there any items that are prohibited?
Dangerous goods must be declared before travel on all Explore Group products and services. This includes but not limited to Gas Bottles, Dive Tanks, Fuel including Kerosene, Diesel and Petrol. Methylated Spirits and other flammable liquids or substances. We are limited in the quantity that we can carry, please call our team for more details.

REFUNDS / CANCELLATIONS
Bookings are fully refundable if cancelled 14 days or more before departure.
Bookings are non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days of departure or in the event of a no show.
If the operator cancels the departure and an alternative date cannot be arranged, bookings will be fully refunded.
If customers are not able to travel, or the cruise is unable to operate as scheduled, due to Covid-19 restrictions, a full refund will be provided.
Explore Group reserves the right to alter proposed routes or cancel any departure in the interest of passenger safety and/or comfort.
All departures are subject to minimum numbers, sea and weather conditions and Explore Group reserves the right to cancel departures in the event that requirements are not met.

Passengers must take all reasonable precautions for their own safely and the safety of any person/s in their care.
We observe Host Responsibility on all our vessels and locations and reserve the right to refuse any passenger who appears intoxicated. BYO Alcohol is not permitted on board.
Guests participating in water activities from the swim platform should be confident swimming in the open water. Water activities will be available under the supervision of crew only and not available during twilight hours and at night, or after consuming alcohol. Stinger suits will be supplied for water activities when required
