Its also coral spawning season and that attracts all the migratory fish from The Great Barrier Reef and other parts of the world’s ocean to this location, it’s like springtime under water. It’s also turtle nesting season from the southern Great Barrier Reef all the way up to Cairns and Cape York, it really is the best time of year to be in the Whitsundays and you should give it consideration.
