You and up to six others will be picked from your Cairns, Cairns Beaches and Port Douglas accommodation in your own private Land Rover safari wagon (the only one in the Daintree) by your tour guide Pete Baxendell. Pete was born in and bred in the native bushlands of East Africa where he began working as a safari guide in Kenya and as a forest officer, tracking illegal bands of wild animal poachers. His innate love and understanding of nature led him to take up an interest in bush medicine food and has helped him become an elite and eco accredited guide and naturalist.

Enjoy a refreshing dip in a secluded rainforest pool and by the time lunch comes (if you are not already full from all the green ants and home baked cookies) enjoy some fresh and naturally grown produce — all tastes are catered for.
