On route to the reef morning tea is served-usually some scrumptious chocolate mud cake and moist carrot cake. YUM! You then settle in for the Reef Education presentation, given by one of the highly qualified and entertaining Marine Naturalists.
The floating pontoon, situated on picturesque Norman Reef is without a doubt the most comfortable pontoon on offer in this area. A multi level deck ensures plenty of room to move about or even relax on a sun lounger. Once you have decided which activities you would like to enjoy for the day its time to begin your Great Adventure! Whether you are a non-swimmer or a scuba diver the team at Great Adventures will help you every step of the way. Complimentary Activities on offer include a Glass Bottom Boat Ride, Semi-Submersible Boat Ride, Underwater Observatory, Snorkeling with all gear and instruction provided (including floatation vests). Guided snorkel tours by a knowledgeable guide are also available at an extra charge.
For those people who have ever wondered about scuba diving, there is no need to wonder any longer. Introductory dives can be arranged as part of your Great Adventure and the best part is no experience is necessary. Of course Certified Diving is also available for those who have completed the training. Their highly trained dive professionals will take you on an underwater tour enjoying the beautiful hard and soft corals and abundant marine life that call Norman Reef home.
On the pontoon a scrumptious lunch is served, an amazing assortment of Hot and Cold buffet dishes including seafood.(oop's sorry Nemo)
The pontoon also has change rooms, fresh water showers and a swimming enclosure for the little ones.
