This is a truly award winning experience, leaving the Marlin Jetty in Cairns on board this magnificent 27 metre catamaran is an amazing sight to see. Once you start to cruise away you seem to leave all your troubles and worries behind. As you start to relax, unwind and appreciate the real beauty of the sun setting over the rainforest covered mountains and beautiful waterways in our tropical backyard, you wonder why you have not discovered Cairns before now. The elegant and distinctive interiors surround you in comfort and luxury, the dimmed lights and fresh sea air have an aura that makes this superb setting so wonderful. Spacious comfortable tables and seating leaving plenty of room for moving around whilst cruising and lots of dance floor space for a quick jig to the band.
The service is nothing but excellent with a complimentary glass of Australian sparkling wine to get you going on arrival. Stay on the top deck for departure time to take in the balmy night views and see the moon and stars which in our part of the world have so much clarity. The four course buffet offers everything from roast meats and vegetables,(vegetables) soups, fresh seafood, healthy salads and the most wicked of desserts! A lot of the produce coming from the Atherton Tablelands just behind Kuranda and also the Great Barrier Reef. The pumpkin soup did it for me — so simple, but there was something about it, I loved it! All allergies and special food requirements are catered for on board for convenience. A little advance notice is always appreciated and ensures you are well catered for.
On the drinks menu is also a list of very inviting cocktails and one I especially liked was called 'Poison' with Midori it was so good. The boat cruises up and down the Trinity Inlet and weather permitting out through the leaders to see Cairns lit up at night from the ocean. So with a mixture of great food, beautiful wines and some easy going live music I could have been anywhere in the world. By the end of my journey I was relaxed and feeling quite content. This is a delightful tour for holiday makers or locals alike. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommended!

AnnaBook early for this one as it is very popular you get 2 and a half hours of fresh sea air and good food. Departures are seven nights a week and pick ups can be arranged from your hotel. This is a cruise for all members of the family. The kids can be home in bed by 10.30pm. Great value for money too. Better than going to a restaurant and not moving and having no entertainment! Highly recommend it while you're here in Tropical North Queensland to enjoy our balmy nights
