The bustling Cairns Esplanade is only a block away and is a paradise made up of a 3km stretch of waterfront boardwalks, a beach style lagoon swimming pool and an activity precinct with work out stations, bike tracks and volleyball courts. All tours of the Cairns region including reef and rainforest tours pick up daily directly from Hotel Cairns.
Hotel Cairns has three different styles of accommodation: Plantation rooms, tower rooms and tower penthouse suites. Each room has a spacious balcony with pool or city views, is air-conditioned with ceiling fans and has a flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, desk area, hair drier and luxurious bathrooms with well appointed linens and towels and Molton Brown toiletries.
Plantation rooms are 22 sqm. and located on the group level. These rooms sleep a maximum of two people and have either a king sized bed or two king sized single beds. Tower rooms are designed for longer stays and are a comfortable 33sqm. Tower rooms have a separate lounge area and have a queen size bed; an extra single bed can be used to sleep 3 people. Finally tower penthouse suites are 50sqm with large balconies boasting fantastic views. These luxury suites offer a higher degree of privacy and prestige and have a king sized bed.
