The Mediterranean Beachfront Apartments, at Yorkeys Knob Beach are one of the best value on the Cairns beachfront. These near new, 2 bedroom/2 bathroom luxury apartments are much larger than the average 2 bedroom holiday apartments so guests can enjoy space. The entertainer balcony (with private B.B.Q.) overlooks the ocean (as does the lounge, dining, kitchen and main bedroom). The second bedroom will sleep up to four comfortably.
These luxury apartments have quality fittings throughout with 3 separate, silent, split system air-conditioners operated by remote controls, plus ceiling fans, sea breezes keep the apartment cool. Linen is included and if required additional services can be provided by housekeeping (extra charge).
The Mediterranean has a saltwater swimming pool and is opposite a patrolled beach, with a free BBQ area and playground. Pool/beach towels are supplied. A take-away, convenience store, newsagency and an internet caf are just next door and the shopping centre, 7 restaurants, take-aways, IGA supermarket, post office, 18 hole GOLF COURSE , licensed clubs are a leisurely stroll from the property. There is a regular bus service to Cairns and Smithfield Shopping Centre and courtesy buses to the Yorkeys Knob Yachting and Boat Club, Palmer Kate's Steakhouse and Smithfield Tavern.
