The one, two and three bedroom apartments at Kuranda Resort and Spa are one or two levels and combine luxury and convenience. Cook for yourself in your fully equipped stainless steel kitchen that has a fridge/freezer, oven, stovetop, cookery, utensils and crockery. The one and two bedroom apartments have outside decks that lookout into the rainforest, are fully air-conditioned and have comfortable Egyptian Cotton Day Beds. The one bedroom apartment has a separate bedroom with a queen sized bed and the two bedroom apartments have three separate sleeping areas, queen sized beds and two bathrooms; spa baths are available in some units. The three bedroom apartments at Kuranda Resort and Spa are great for families or groups and can sleep up to six people. There are four separate sleeping areas (three queen sized bedrooms and the living room), 2 living and dining areas and three bathrooms. The apartments can be specially configured to sleep 2-14 people suitable for large families, multi-families, groups, wedding parties or even day-rooms for conferences or events.

The trendy modern villas at Kuranda Resort and Spa are funky and contemporary with bright colors, dark woods and premium fixtures and fittings. All villas are air-conditioned, with queen sized beds, Austar, refrigerators, ironing facilities and ceiling fans. The one bedroom villa has a queen sized bedroom, a spacious bathroom and an upstairs bunk. The one bedroom loft villas- which are located amongst the lush rainforest- have large king sized bedrooms upstairs, cedar flooring and Egyptian cotton days beds with large cozy cushions. Luxurious two bedroom villas have a bedroom upstairs and one downstairs for ultimate privacy. There are (2) two bedroom villas, they both have one bathroom and a comfy day bed but one villa sleeps four while the other sleeps five. There are also (2) 2 bedroom villas with double Jacuzzi spa baths.

The Rainforest Experience Villas have two bedrooms, one double bedroom upstairs and one bunk bedroom downstairs, one bathroom and limited cooking facilities (microwave, hotplate, toaster). This rainforest villa is ideal for families, it has a spacious private patio and a separate lounge and dining areas.

Kuranda Resort and Spa has four sun drenched swimming pools connected by rock pools and waterfalls with a secluded cave grotto. Sweat it out in the brand new wet or dry sauna. Wind through the tropical rainforest grounds through a beautiful orchid walk. Kuranda Resort and Spa has a fully equipped gymnasium, floodlit tennis courts and running/ walking tracks through and around the property.

If you are traveling for business reasons, Kuranda Resort and Spa has a comfortable conference center that can cater for 30 in theater style, with a huge deck area outside for lunches morning and afternoon teas or a private cocktail or barbeque venue. Broadband internet is available.

If you have always dreamed of a beautiful wedding in the Australian rainforest then you have come to the right place. Kuranda Resort and Spa has several picturesque locations to hold your wedding ceremony. The conference centre can be set up as a rainforest wedding chapel and can seat 50 guests. Weddings can also be held in a local community church, then for the reception poolside in the Forest Fusion Restaurant.

Kuranda Resort and Spa’s spacious and inviting restaurant called Forest Fusion has slate floors, high sloping timber and weaved ceilings, an open fireplace for cozy winter evenings with the swimming pool coming right into the restaurant. Dinner guests can swim in these beautiful pools for a surcharge if they are dining in the Resort for lunch or dinner. Beneath a rainforest canopy you can enjoy world class cuisine featuring local flavors and some of the best Australian and imported wines and spirits. They have a great healthy children’s menu and delicious Tapa’s menu for the adults. This restaurant is an ideal place to hold all your special events such as wedding, birthday or baptism. It just has a great inviting feel about it that immediately makes you feel welcomed and relaxed.


Lazy Sunday afternoons are filled with Jazz musicians and other bands and events to co-inside with the calendar throughout the year.

This is our favorite mid week restaurant to call into for those nights we do not want to cook.
