Kuranda Bed and Breakfast is owned and operated by two enthusiastic bushwalkers Lyle and Pat Greene who are keen on sharing with you their special slice of paradise on Ripple Creek in Kuranda Australia. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers this peaceful acreage is located in World Heritage Listed Rainforest with 50 kilometers of hiking tracks right at your doorstep. Kuranda Bed and Breakfast is only 25 minutes north west of the City of Cairns but feels miles away from any civilization. Just exquisite nature at its purest and true Australian hospitality for the duration of your stay; what more could you ask for?

Kuranda Bed and Breakfast consists of two king sized suites each with three king single beds. Each suite is fully screened and air conditioned, 18X21 ft., has a private ensuite bathroom and is furnished with comfy country style décor. The rooms are connected to the main house via a covered screened deck. The deck is used as a communal area and has barbeque facilities, outdoor dining furniture and a food preparation area. The outdoor veranda is an ideal place to kick back and relax after exploring Kuranda and The Atherton Tablelands with an infused herbal tea or refreshing glass of Australian wine. Other activities available on the spacious verandah or in the grassy lawn are table tennis, cricket, croquet and badminton; if you work up a sweat doing any of these then why not cool off with some home made ice cream or some juicy tropical fruits grown right on the property- yum!

There are two creeks that pass thru the property of Kuranda Bed and Breakfast and in these creeks you can expect to spot turtles, platypuses, and several types of fish. If you are a fishing enthusiast you can even have a try at catching your own freshwater crayfish for dinner. Also on the property is a freshwater dam that is perfect for a nice refreshing dip, there is also a canoe available if you wish to paddle these tranquil waters. There is a guest barbeque area where you can prepare your own meals and breakfast is complimentary; picnic lunches can be provided upon request if you feel like a romantic picnic in the rainforest or during an exploratory bush walk.

Kuranda Bed and Breakfast is nearby the small bohemian town of Kuranda where there are daily markets, animal attractions (Bird World, Koala Gardens, Venom Zoo and Butterfly Sanctuary), Aboriginal attractions (Rainforestation), restaurants and shops.
