Calypso Corner is a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom holiday home plus separate one bedroom apartment. It has a fabulous resort-style pool with spa features and a great entertainment area. There is a large kitchen and open plan lounge and dining area. The living rooms and bedrooms all have french doors that open on to the timber verandah that surrounds the outside bar and BBQ area and the free-form saltwater pool.
The house is located a short walk from the golden sands of Clifton Beach and only 15 minutes’ walk along to Palm Cove where you can dine in one of many award-winning restaurants. Alternatively, pamper yourself at one of six internationally renowned day spas.
The outside pool and garden entertaining area is what makes this property so special. The garden is landscaped with beautiful exotic tropical plants, surrounded by melaleucas and palm trees and framed by rainforest and mountains.
The main house comprises four bedrooms, two with en-suites, and one bathroom, sleeping 8-10 guests. The main living area is light and spacious with cathedral ceilings, open plan kitchen and dining room. All rooms have French doors opening to the wide timber verandah surrounding the resort-style pool.
The outdoor entertainment area comprises al fresco dining settings, bar and barbecue. This truly is a tropical haven you will not forget.
Calypso Corner Holiday House’s facilities include four bedrooms and three bathrooms; two bedrooms with queen and single bed, air conditioning and en-suite, one bedroom with a queen bed and air conditioning, and the fourth bedroom with two single beds and air conditioning. The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine; the fully equipped laundry includes a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities, and all linen and towels including beach towels are supplied. Ceiling fans throughout the house keep it wonderfully cool during the tropical months, and there are TVs in every room. Linen change is available with stays over 10 days.
The living room has a DVD player, CD player, Playstation game console and telephone with complimentary local telephone calls.
Beach picnic equipment is supplied.
The holiday apartment sleeps up to four guests with one bedroom with a queen bed and air-conditioning, one sofa bed in the lounge and two single beds on the verandah sleep out. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, open plan lounge with TV and air conditioning, one bathroom, and a dining room and second lounge located on the enclosed verandah. All linen is supplied plus beach towels, and linen change is available with stays over 10 days. Guests have use of a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities, and the apartment is equipped with a hairdryer, alarm clock and ceiling fans throughout.
The house and apartment can be rented individually with shared use of the pool and laundry facilities.
